Luther noticed Nina acting strangely and looked up to see her walking unsteadily toward the sea. "What are you
doing, Nina?"
But Nina kept moving forward.

She stopped, turned around, and gave him a sad smile. The wind whipped around her, making her thin frame
seem even more fragile. "You're the only person | have, Luther. If you don't wantaround, what's the point of

Luther felt a rush of mixed emotions but found himself at a loss for words.
"Thank you for everything, Luther. | don't need your kindness anymore." She then ran into the sea, looking
completely overwhelmed.
The waves grew larger, splashing violently as Nina moved deeper into the water.
Luther's emotions intensified with panic. He tried to reach her, to pull her back, but the strong waves knocked
him over.
"Nina, stop! You'll die!" he screamed.
But Nina continued, the water reaching her knees. "Don't save me. Go back."
Even though she said this, her steps slowed, hinting she might still hold onto life. She turned back to Luther,
separated by the crashing waves, and smiled. "I knew you'd cafterbecause you don't want to see me
die, right?"
"Cback! The tide's getting stronger!" Luther yelled desperately.
Nina thought that wasn't good enough, so she gently shook her head. "But you don't wantanymore..."
Luther clenched his jaw, then shouted back, "That's not true. Cback, Nina. You'll always be my sister!"

hopeful to anxious as she realized she was too far out.
"Save me, Luther! | can't make it back on my own!" She reached out desperately but grasped only air.
Luther struggled to keep his balance and couldn't move forward. Pearl, seeing the danger, called out, "Luther,
cback, or you'll get dragged out too!"
"| don't want to die, Luther! | don't want the sea to take me!" Nina cried, now deeper in the water. "Help!" Her
voice was full of panic.
As the water pushed her around, Nina regretted walking so far out.
