Chapter 1380
Nina was furious when she saw Darius in pain. Why did he seem so hurt? She had never made a sound when she
was hurt worse.
He had only been hit by a rock, and he was crying so much? It couldn't be real!
Nina turned and grabbed a stick. She wanted to hit him again, but as she lifted her arm, someone shouted.
"Nina, what are you doing?"

Startled by the familiar voice, Nina dropped the stick. She spun around and saw Luther, the man she had been
thinking about all the time. Her voice shook. "I'm back now, Luther." Nina hadn't expected Luther to shout at her
over Darius, so she stepped toward him. But Luther wasn't ready for a warm welcome. As she approached, he
pushed her, and she stumbled to the ground.
Nina looked up, shocked. "You pushed me? You've never treatedlike this."
Luther replied sternly, "I never thought the sister | cared for would act like this." Looking at her, he felt like he
didn't recognize her anymore.
"I haven't changed. I'm still-"
She was about to say 'in love with you," but Luther interrupted. "There's no point talking about the past because
I've moved on, and | hope you can too."
Nina got up slowly, her voice filled with sadness. "You don't want to be withbecause | was just a simple, poor
girl, and you were never interested?"
Luther frowned, surprised by her conclusion. "I don't want to be with you because I never felt that way about

Nina shook her head, distressed. "No, you didn't choosebecause you didn't think | was good enough. But |
don't understand why you would choose her. She's older and even has a child. I'm much younger. Why not me?"
Luther responded firmly, "Don't talk about her that way."
Nina shouted, "You're defending her and scolding me. Have you forgotten I'm your sister? She's just a stranger!"
"I love her," Luther stated simply.
Nina stepped back, disbelief in her voice. "I don't believe you. | don't believe you love her." Luther, finding her
actions odd, asked, "What is going on, Nina?"
