Chapter 1136 Taking the Money
Jenny and Alec shared a glance. He nodded, indicating that he was alright with anything
that she said.

Jenny was right. Marigold needed the money that Gilbert gave. It didn't matter if Gilbert

No one said anything else. Gilbert wrote a check on the spot. It was basically all of the
capital he had. The nine figures would enable Marigold to raise the child very well, even
without the Wagners' help.
They weren't broke, but they had to admit that this amount was large for Gilbert. It was a
lesson learned for him.
