Chapter 190 Judson was totally speechless.
Nancy was great in every way, but she transformed into a different person whenever the topic of work cup serious and focused.
After their ride on the Ferris wheel, Nancy and Judson had just stepped off when Cyrus approached them. "Nancy, you and Judson..." Before he could finish, Neil's anxious voice interrupted, "Miss Lena, I'm sorry I'm late. Hope you don't mind?" Cyrus pressed his lips together, observing Neil hastily joining Nancy. He knew exactly who this man was. The head honcho from The NY Group.
Nancy barely nodded, a subtle shake of her head. "No worries. I've managed to enjoy all the rides." Neil discreetly assessed Judson's cool demeanor and then glanced at Cyrus standing nearby, instantly understanding the situation.
With rivals in the vicinity, it seemed Mr. Buchanan and Miss Lena hadn't fully enjoyed themselves. If only he'd arrived sooner.
Yet, he couldn't express these thoughts out loud. Instead, he respectfully said, "Miss Lena, do you have any new ideas?" "I do," Nancy replied honestly. "Come, letshow you." Neil nodded quickly, his tone eager to please. "Of course." As Nancy and Neil walked away, Judson and Cyrus promptly followed.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtSarah's eyes were filled with a mix of jealousy and anger. Neil, this big shot, was treating Nancy with such respect? What was so special about Nancy? Just because she collaborated with Baldrick once, did she really think she could rule the world? While Nancy and Neil discussed work, Judson and Cyrus kept their distance.
"I plan to have the runway entrance here," Nancy said, standing at the western edge of the amusement park, with the ocean visible beyond.
Neil looked surprised. "Isn't the center usually the best choice for an entrance?" Nancy shook her head gently and explained her concept with a soft, confident voice.
Moments later, Neil's eyes widened in disbelief, unable to control his excitement. "Miss Lena, you're a genius! We'll do exactly as you suggest. I'm certain this entrance will outshine The Sandro Group's!" Sarah, standing not too far away, couldn't hear their conversation but caught Neil's last remark clearly. She sneered, "Mr. Neil, you're exaggerating. The Sandro Group's runway was due to Baldrick's crush on Nancy. Do you really think it was all her doing?" Cyrus' face darkened at Sarah's words.
Judson shot Sarah a cold glare, "Were you eavesdropping under the table back then?" Sarah was speechless.
Compared to the angry Judson, Nancy remained calm and collected. "Speaking without thinking-no wonder the Hernandez family is living off their past glory." Sarah's face showed she was hit where it hurt, about to retort angrily.
Neil cut her off, "Sarah, if you dare to slander Miss Lena or our honored guest at Evergreen Global again, don't be surprised to receive a legal warning." Sarah's expression turned sour, clearly not pleased with the threat.
"Nancy, don't let a few barking dogs ruin your mood," Judson said, walking over and wrapping an arm around Nancy's shoulder.
"I've got a gift for you." Nancy raised an eyebrow, curious. "What gift?" Judson's eyes were full of affection. "You'll find out soon enough." As the two exchanged glances, Cyrus clenched his fists, ready to intervene and separate them.
Suddenly.
Boom-! A fireworks display erupted in the sky.
Startled, Nancy looked up to see the dazzling fireworks lighting up the night.
More fireworks soon followed, filling the sky with brilliance.
Nancy was momentarily taken aback, and even Cyrus was stunned.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmJudson had arranged fireworks for Nancy? Before Nancy could fully make sense of it, a warm hand gently took hold of her cold fingers.
She turned and found herself looking into Judson's deep eyes.
Judson's gaze was filled with warmth. "Nancy, I wasn't sure if you liked fireworks. This is our first tat an amusement park since your memory loss, and I wanted to make it memorable." Nancy was silent, glancing at Cyrus' pale face, then at Judson, who seemed both nervous and hopeful.
"I do like it. Thank you for the fireworks show."
Judson visibly relaxed, a smile spreading across his face. "Aslong as Nancy likes if I'd go to any lengths to make you happy." Nancy nodded slightly, but before she could say more.
Cyrus, unable to contain his frustration any longer, burst out "Nancy y didn't you say you didn't like fireworks? I wanted to give you a fireworks show too, but you said no!"
