“With the current opinion of everyone, | believe it is best that you voluntarily leave the company,” Cecil smirked

as she Hooked at Izzy. “I mean... why stay?”

Cecil woke up that morning already full of smiles. She had been up early, watching the reaction to Monica's

interview explode online. Every comment, every repost, every news article calling Izzy a monster only fueled her

excitement. By the tshe arrived at Weiss Inc., she was practically glowing.

Now, seated inside CEO Weiss's office, she crossed her legs and placed her iPad on the desk. Izzy sat across from

her, her expression unreadable. CEO Weiss leaned back in his chair, arms folded as he observed them both.

Cecil tapped on the screen, then turned it around to face them. Look at this,” she said, scrolling through the

comments. “Isabella Rossi is pure evil. She should be rotting in prison,” she read aloud. “Here's another-‘l hope

she gets banned from the industry entirely. No one should work with someone like that”

She turned her head toward Izzy, watching her reaction. “Not even a little disturbed?” she asked, tilting the

screen toward her again.

Izzy didn’t glance at it. She pulled her phone from the desk, tapping on the screen. “Why would | be disturbed?”

She looked at Cecil. “It's not the truth.”

Cecil's smile faltered for a fraction of a second before she turned toward her husband. “Well?” She gestured

toward him. “What do you plan to do now?”

CEO Weiss exhaled sharply and leaned forward. “Legally, we cannot suspend or terminate Izzy based on public

opinion. The claims against her are circumstantial at best.” He placed both hands on the desk. “Even if we

wanted to conduct an internal investigation, we don’t have the grounds to remove her from the project.”

Cecil's lips pressed together. She tapped a manicured nail against the iPad. “The people want her out. You think

our overseas partners won't hear about this? Once this spreads to Macao, I'm sure they'll get involved. Do you

really think they'll want to work with someone like her? What about stocks? Are you willing to sacrifice our stocks

just because of this woman?”

Izzy finally looked up from her phone. She turned to Cecil and smiled. “You're funny.” She placed her phone on

the desk. “I never thought someone could be as stupid and desperate as you. She's not sbig executive in

the company. Currently, the stocks of Weiss Inc aren't affected by her issues.

Cecil's nostrils flared.

Izzy shifted her gaze to CEO Weiss. “I already filed a defamation case against Monica,” she said, crossing her

legs. “And I'll be adding Mrs. Weiss to it very soon.” She let that sink in for a moment before continuing. “If the

company moves againstnow, it would be clear retaliation. And wrongful termination would put Weiss Inc. in

a very serious legal situation.”

She tapped her fingers against her knee. “I assyou're already aware of this.”

CEO Weiss'’s face darkened. He hesitated, then sighed, rubbing his temple. “We cannot afford that kind of

lawsuit,” he admitted. At least not now.

Izzy smiled again. She knew he wasn’t stupid. He was well aware she had the funds to take this fight all the way.

The last thing he wanted was for Weiss Inc. to be dragged into a legal battle.

Cecil's expression twisted. “So you're just going to let her stay?”

CEO Weiss didn’t answer immediately. He glanced at Izzy, then at his wife. “We won't be making any decisions

situation is fully evaluated. What Miss Monica said can still be considered hearsay without concrete evidence

backing it up. I may not be a lawyer Cecil, but | knew that doing something to Izzy would damage the company.”

Cecil gritted her teeth. She turned to Izzy, glaring. “You really think you can get away with this?”

Izzy picked up her phone again and checked her notifications. “I don’t think,” she said without looking up. “I

know.”

Izzy tapped on her phone, her expression calm as she spoke. “My lawyer allowedto show this to both of you

prepare yourselves in case this mess doesn’t go away on its own. She gave them a meaningful smile before

pressing play.

The screen lit up, and a video began to play. The angle was slightly to the side, capturing the entire exchange

clearly. Izzy stood near Monica, her posture relaxed, while Monica sat across from her. It was evident from the

footage that Izzy never laid a hand on her.

“I enjoyed this little chat, but I'm busy. I'd really appreciate it if you keptout of your . | have nothing to

do with the Weiss family anymore. Calen’s moved on, and so have I. So whatever plans you have, they're not my

concern.” On the screen, Izzy gave Monica a pointed look. “Good luck with the baby.”

Izzy turned to leave, but Monica suddenly shot up from her chair and grabbed Izzy's wrist. The video showed Izzy

immediately frowning and pulling back slightly.

“Letgo,” she said.

Monica's lips curved into a smirk.

“You're wrong, Izzy. This has everything to do with you. From now on, every part of it involves you.”

“What?”

Without warning, Monica released Izzy's hand and let herself drop to the floor with a loud thud.

Gasps could be heard from nearby customers. The footage captured Monica clutching her stomach, her voice

rising in a tic wail,

“Ahhhh!” she screamed. “My baby!”

Izzy tapped the screen, pausing the video. She turned her gaze back to Cecil and CEO Weiss, her smile never

faltering.

Seeing the look on their faces, Izzy added, “You know, Mrs. Weiss, | am not the type of person who never learns

from their mistakes. All of the calls that cinto my phone were already recorded the moment | answered. This

means | have a record of Monica callingfrom an unknown number, asking-no-beggingto meet up at a

certain café.” The smile on Izzy's face turned even brighter as she leaned forward. “Did you really think | would

allow someone to burntwice?”

“You-"

Izzy snorted as she looked at the CEO. “The lawsuit was filed just this morning, CEO Weiss. | am certain that your

lawyers would soon inform you of this matter.”

Izzy leaned back, her fingers tapping lazily against the desk. “So she said, her eyes locked onto Cecil, “what's it

going to be?” Cecil's face twisted with barely contained fury. Her hands clenched into fists on her lap.

Izzy smirked. “Are you going to file your own case against me? Maybe claim emotional distress? Go ahead. I'd

love to see what kind of legal argument your lawyers can cup with when this video exists.” She gestured

toward her phone before setting it down.

CEO Weiss pinched the bridge of his nose. His frustration was evident, but he was being careful. He wasn’t stupid

enough to escalate this when Izzy had every advantage.

“And the company,” Izzy continued, shifting her gaze to him. “I'll be waiting to see if you want to get involved in

this mess. You already know the risks. You firenow, and it's wrongful termination. You suspend me, and it's

retaliation. Either way, we both know | won't be the one losing here.”

CEO Weiss exhaled sharply. He glanced at his wife. “Weiss Inc. will not be making any decisions regarding your

employment at this time,” he said carefully. “This is a personal matter between you and Monica. | will make sure

that the board knows.”

Izzy nodded, satisfied. “Good choice.” She glanced at Cecil, her smile returning. “But if you still want to fight, feel

free. | have plenty of tand an entire legal team ready to go.”

Cecil’s lips pressed into a thin line.

Izzy picked up her phone. “I have a meeting to get to,” she said as she stood. “I'll leave you both to think about

your next move.” She adjusted her coat, smoothing out the fabric before heading toward the door.

Just before stepping out, she turned back, her gaze settling on Cecil. “But doa favor, Mrs. Weiss,” she said,

her fingers curling around the door handle. “Make it interesting.”
