First Love 109
Chapter 109 Chapter 109
Angela patted Clara's hand, then turned to the group. "Do you guys like it here?"
They all glanced around. Even those who didn't know the backstory sensed something was off, but they couldn't
hide their excitement.
In all honesty, the place was excellent. It was on the first floor, with easy access to restaurants and
transportation. It was quiet and perfect for them to rest or go out to get inspiration.
"Then let's stay. Get settled in and rest. We'll go out for dinner together tonight," Angela said with a smile.
Only a fool would pass up a good deal. Since Dexter was paying, she'd let him spend. It would be even better if it
made him broke.
"Hooray!" They cheered in unison.
Trent distributed everyone's room keys but held onto Angela's for a moment.

Angela felt wary. "My room isn't here?"
Trent kept smiling. "You need special security arrangements. Please follow me."
Her room wasn't far from the others, though it was separated by a walkway and was behind the building, facing
a large rose garden.
“Thank you.” Angela didn't think too much about it. She went in and dropped her things. Then, she freshened up
and laid down for a nap.
Meanwhile, the others couldn't sleep at all. They were too excited. They shared pictures of themselves in their
luxurious rooms. The guys had their photos, and the girls had theirs.
They posted selfies in the group chat for all eleven of them. Only Angela and two others, Flora Ferguson and Zion
Nagel, stayed silent in the group.
Flora and Zion were a couple who had graduated from a design academy together and joined Dawnstar. As
talented members of division two, they were held in high regard by Stephen.
But now that they were traveling with the eight others from division one, they didn't really
blend in.
The other eight started a private group chat.
"Should we invite Flora and Zion?" Clara asked. "We're all here together."
“They act like they don't even know us,” Alan said in frustration. "I tried to help Flor

her luggage today, and she just said, 'Don't touch my stuff.’ | mean, really?"
The others shook their heads. They didn't approve either.
That evening, Trent prepared a lavish dinner. Flora and Zion arrived late, but at least they were polite.
“Sorry, we're late. Letdrink this as an apology,” Zion said, raising a glass of juice.
None of them were petty, and they were there to represent the company, so everyone laughed and let it go.

"Are you sure we should do this? We're from the scompany. What if something goes wrong?” Flora asked,
her expression uneasy.
They were in adjoining rooms. It was already nearly one in the morning when Zion suddenly cin.
"Don't forget, even though we placed first and second, the others here are strong contenders too. If we don't
strike first, we might lose the championship. That would make division two look even worse," Zion said in a low
voice, guiding Flora to sit beside him on the couch.
