The next moment, Farley's phone rang with a call from the legal department at Murray Enterprises, telling him

they had finished gathering evidence and retained the right to pursue legal action against him. They also warned

him to stay in line, or else he shouldn't blthem for not showing any mercy.

Farley was scared out of his wits.

Maisie, on the other hand, was unfazed. "What's there to be scared of? Lawyers are all talk, no action. Look at

you, scared over nothing! Let's keep posting! They take one down; we post another." It was a nice thought, but

reality begged to differ-

For every post they made, another was taken down from the site.

Before they could even get compensation, Farley had already sunk five thousand dollars into this mess.

Maisie urged, "Keep posting!"

"Mom! I'm out of money..."

Maisie was speechless.

"How 'bout you lendsome?"

After pausing for a moment, she sighed. "You know, I've been thinking, and this just isn't working out. It feels like

we're just flushing money down the drain if it gets taken down as soon as we put it up." "So, what do we do?"

Maisie's eyes lit up with a cunning spark. "We open a bunch of accounts and keep posting without investing any

more money."

"Would that even work?"

Without investment, there's no buzz.

Without buzz, there's no attention.

And without attention, how could they pressure them into paying up?

To the eyes of Murray Enterprises, Maisie and Farley's antics were barely a blip on their radar.

Thinking they could sway them with public opinion? Dream on!

"Mr. Sherwood, what should we do about their current actions?"

"If there's no buzz, we don't need to bother."

"Understood."

However, to say that Maisie and her son's efforts were completely in vain wouldn't be entirely true.

At the very least, they managed to annoy Murray and even caught the attention of the corporate PR department

of the Sherwood Group, now under the leadership of Naylor Sherwood.

As the head of the Sherwood family,

Naylor usually dealt with

multi-million dollar cases and made decisions involving millions. He wouldn't normally notice such minor

disturbances. en

But he had a very efficient secretary.

Once Farley's video was posted, his secretary noticed it right away, briefed him, and alerted the PR department

to prepare a solution just in case.

Naylor knew his son all too well; after watching the video, he figured it was probably true.

He had his secretary call Murray, ordering him to cback to the family estate immediately.

When Murray arrived, Beverley was standing demurely by Naylor's side, as timid as a quail, even her breathing

was cautious.

Hearing the noise from the entrance, she quickly signaled her son with her eyes: Be careful! Your father is

furious!

Murray, unfazed, stepped forward and greeted, "Dad."

Naylor gave him and Beverley a cold glance. "Do you think I'm not busy enough? Choosing right before the

shareholder's meeting to cause trouble?"

"Honey, please, calm down..."

Beverley tried to soothe him with a gentle voice, "They're just two fools, neither smart nor significant enough to

stir up any real trouble, not enough to affect the shareholder's meeting..."

Naylor scoffed, "A fly might not bite, but it sure annoys. | don't care how you do it, intimidation or bribery, just

get this mess sorted out

immediately. We're on the eve of the shareholder's meeting, and we can't afford any negative publicity!"

Finally, he turned to Murray, warning sternly, "Keep yourself in line during this time, got it?!"

"..Yeah."

After scolding them, Naylor hurried back to the corporation.

Murray, somewhat irritated, loosened his tie:

"I've said from the start we shouldn't have kept Millie's baby, but you wouldn't listen. Now look where we are. I'm

done dealing with this mess; you sort it out!"
