small and fragile as she huddled inside her black puffer jacket. Her ponytail bung messily over her shoulder.
A dim light from behind cast her in a shadowy silhouette. Terence's SUV approached, and as he watched the
small, thin woman standing there, his grip on the steering wheel tightened.
"Terence, she doesn't seem well. Is she... are things not okay?" Maryanne asked, immediately noticing that
something was off with Lily.
"Believe in her. Don't ask about the results. You just need to help her relax," Terence said in a low voice.
